With ever increasing confidence in the property market, there has never been a better time since the downturn to buy and sell property.
We at Bensons are experiencing serious purchasers coming back into the market and sales are at the highest for 18 months. Of course purchasers require a deposit, but with lending easing our mortgage department is managing to place a significantly higher volume of loans with the added advantage of amazingly low interest rates.
Sellers that price realistically are well placed to attract these buyers, whose numbers are increasing on our database weekly.
With prices at more realistic levels first time buyers are being tempted back into the market and now is an ideal time for that first home. As first time buyers return to the market this will also encourage sales further up the chain.
The rental market is showing no signs of slowing, here at Bensons Lettings we have had a record period of property lets, with demand strong for flats and smaller houses. Keeping up with the demand is the main problem and we expect this trend to continue well into the future.
In summary – now is the time to spring into the property market!!!
